EIC Grant Program
Encouraging high quality egg-related research
The Egg Industry Center Research Grant Program has a goal to encourage high quality egg-related research at academic institutions in North America. This program is funded through the Egg Industry Center Endowment Fund, and other research funds provided by donors, to ensure research resources remain available long-term for the egg industry.
Our highly competitive proposal process selects research projects based on scientific merit and relevance to current or emerging issues in the egg industry. The center is excited to continue to expand the variety of scientific solutions this research is discovering, and to help share that information with all who are interested in learning about it.

Proposals
EIC’s Research Grant Program launches its call for proposals in the fall of each year. Our policy is to not pay indirect (i.e. overhead) costs or faculty salary and fringe benefits; however, EIC does allow submission of proposals that include salary and fringe benefit support for post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students and technicians, as appropriate.
